Microsoft Wins!

dpille writes

“In a stunning, sudden victory for Microsoft’s Imperial forces, ulman.net was overwhelmed Friday with Microsoft Internet Explorer users. ulman.net, previously in the vanguard of the growing “Microsoft-Free Fridays” army, had recently launched a new section of its site without the crucial browser check that would have ensured the site’s Microsoft-impenetrability.
“I’m speechless,” said a frequent visitor to ulman.net. “I had gotten rather used to being excluded on Fridays from the extraordinary entertainment and information available on ulman.net, due to my rabid support and respect for all things Microsoft. But when somehow I was able to view the page today, I immediately called my handler with the Empire and started spreading the news of ulman.net’s vulnerability to our dark and insidious magic.”
Those familiar with ulman.net indicated that traffic at the site was 100% greater, and perhaps even infinitely greater, than the previous Microsoft-Free Friday. The cruel lord Bill Gates responded to these developments by ‘tenting’ his fingers and raspily saying “Infinite!””

Good point – I just added it – matt.

Isles v. Leafs tonight

Nothing like reaching into the fridge for the milk, catching a glance at the undated playoff tickets on the door, and realizing that you’re supposed to be at the game that has 5 minutes left. Did I mention I’m a moron. Eastern Conference Quarterfinals – not League Quarterfinals. Duh

Great game, at least the bit that I saw. I can’t believe that these guys are holding on, it’s exciting to see after so many years of crap.

Unfun

She puts me to shame. Better writer, thinker, etc. than I could ever hope to be. Luckily, she lets me pee on her toilet seat.

First Post!

Well, this should be interesting. I’m going to move everything from here eventually.
I have mixed feelings about this. For one, this is what I do for a living. Using other people’s stuff makes me itch a little bit, especially when it’s been “simpled” up as much as this has, making it hard to change in the ways I’d like. I’m fairly sure I could write something as useful, and much easier to maintain, but I’d never have the time to add the stuff that this one has, like journals & stuff. I think I’ll work on both, and see which I like better.

Anyone who wants (who am i kidding, only dave reads this shit), can have admin privs – just post or something after signing up.
