streaming pile of goodness
I tell everyone I meet about kexp, and I think most of them are tired of hearing about it.
I stream this pretty constantly throughout the day, and got a tired of checking the playlist page to see what was on. Someday there’s going to be song information included in mp3 streams, but until then I wrote a little tray icon that’ll tell me what’s playing. GTK2 required, and you need the ‘system notification’ area enabled for the gnome2 panel. I guess that makes the target market for this nearly 4 people.
I’ve got plans for it, but I thought I’d put it out there for now.

This group calling themselves ‘blackmetalfriends’ are a bunch of spammers. what’s worse, the Knitting factory sold my email to them. I also got a copy to the address that I use with ticketweb, but really what can you expect from those ticketbastards?
